Estimates are informational. Quotes are manually issued based on the stocked unit price or the supplier price.
Repair Policy
Quote Adherence
No work will be done until the quote is approved. Additional costs incurred or discovered will be reported to the customer before being addressed and billed. Sometimes circumstances outside our control or unreported damage may cause timeline or cost shifts in order to ensure your device is not compromised and is covered under our Basic Service Warranty.
Parts and Availability
We have a limited stock and do our best to be realistic about timelines and costs. Timelines are subject to conditions beyond our control and are a best guess. If a timeline slip ultimately prevents your repair order from proceeding, you will not be responsible for work not performed.
Data Safety and Backups
Data loss risks exist. We take efforts to ensure you are not placed in a position where your data is at risk, but we advise to back up your devices prior to servicing. If possible, please place your device in service mode. For your privacy, most repairs will not require unsupervised access to your unlocked device.
Basic Free Range Tech Service Warranty
The Basic Service Warranty is the overall principle that backs our product and service offerings. The warranty offers that after any repair, we will do a 1:1 swap on defective parts, for free, provided that the failure falls in line with the supplier's warranty. Fundamentally, we will work to correct any issues you encounter, provided you go through our customer service in good faith. Adjustments to your bill by virtue of this warranty may be issued at our discretion, in currency or in store credit.
Payments and Disputes
Payments for repairs are accepted through cash, etransfer, and card payment processors. Invoices will be issued after repairs are complete and are required to be paid before collection of the device, unless otherwise arranged. Unpaid invoices will be subject to sanctions, including a refusal of future service, reversion of service, or legal action, until such a time as the invoice and any additional fees incurred during the delinquency.
